Pennsylvania Trip, November 2012

I have dreamed of going to Hershey PA to smell the air of chocolate!  It was awesome.  Here the workers are creating a house completely made f chocolate.  Avannie was more thrilled about the suckers than the architecture.

We found a Hershey Kiss tossing game.  Avannie was a bit better at it then her dad was.   While at Hershery World, we got some great ice cream: peanut butter chocolate.  The peanut butter chunks were the size of a sliced apple!  That is my kind of ice cream!
After seeing Chocolate World, we met up with a wonderful friend, Megan Olsen.  She gave us a great tour of her campus life at Messiah College and we took her to see the Amish Towns that are an hour south of her.  Our favorite place was the toy shop.  Its quite amazing to see how simple life can be and how happy a group of people can be by sticking to the basics.  So to remind me of that, I had to buy a wooden train.  It went perfectly with our annual Christmas story written by Pres. Thomas S. Monson!

As we started for home, we stopped in Allentown, PA to spend the night and the girls had a blast!  Can you tell?
Last place we visited during our whirlwind trip was West Point Military Academy.  It was the neatest campus I have ever seen.  And I loved the history!  One day I will get a real tour so that I can have all the stories.
Great trip!  It was 3 days, 2 nights yet we packed it full and even had some great times looking for new jobs.  Trek - here we come!
(Do you see the Amish guy pulling his plow with a whole team of horses?  It was awesome!)
