Seat Belts Everyone!

For Avannie's birthday this year, I did something out of the ordinary.  I let her have a birthday party.  It wasn't your normal party though... it was a Magic School Bus party and we went on a field trip to the ocean floor.  We visited the tidal zone, inter-tidal zone, and the deep ocean.  In each place, we had games related to that area, learned about the animal life there, and sometimes had a visitor (a shark!).  We even served breakfast and sent them home with their own copy of the actually Ocean Floor edition of The Magic School Bus.  Yes, I was Miss Frizzle - complete with crazy fish earrings and octopuses on my shoes.
