We let Avannie walk around with Joseph's camera. It was so cool to watch her as her interest in the beauty of the butterflies became a little bit deeper.
Avannie's reaction of the huge butterfly on Joseph's shoulder, "Whoa, cool! I want a butterfly on my shoulder." (after leaving the area, Avannie wanted to go back one more time just to see if a butterfly would land on her shirt. Unfortunately, it never happened. We did learn that butterflies are attracted to red or white shirts.)
Sadie's reaction, "Ahh! 'cary!"
The missionaries came over for birthday dinner: grilled salmon, coconut rice, aspargus, and home-grown-strawberry salad. YUM.
