Mirka and Vinicius let us borrow their bikes so we could go on a bike ride down Flamengo beach on Joseph's day off. It was wonderful to be on a bike again, but I will tell you what... my muscles have forgotten how to ride because they were screaming at me. But I ignored them. We rode to a WWII monument, but the security guards didn't like something about us because they wouldn't let us near it for some reason. So we kept riding along the harbor and the beach, which was still gorgeous.
This picture is taken with the aid of our faithful gorilla tripod. Our camera is in the tree while the gorilla is hanging on to one of the funny pieces of bark. I recommend this thing to everyone! I have more fun setting up my camera then I do taking the pictures.
