After the Jockey Club, Joseph and I had to wait about 5 hours until the Samba place was going to start (10:00 pm). So we had some time on our hands. We walked to the beach and enjoyed watching the waves dance along the beach. We were only there for a few minutes because then it was dark and chilly so we decided to go find dinner. After searching for a good half hour, we found this place. Very fancy food and for a really good price, R$42.00 for the both of us.
The pink stuff by the olives is ham paste. Joseph doesn't like it, but it wasn't too bad. Also our meal came with potatoe chips as a delicacy. :) It was really tasty. And by the time we were done eating, we were too tired to go to the Samba place. So we caught a bus and went home. Later we found out the the Samba place that we were going to go to would have cost us about R$95.00 per person! Thank heavens we were tuckered out. Can you believe that?!
