Christmas 2013 in NH

Our Nativity:  Uncle Aaron as a wiseman (Avannie choose the gift for him to use:  her money tin filled with her bracelets), Angel Amy, Shepherd Sadie, Joseph Joseph, Mary Avannie.  Joseph pulled Avannie across the floor while she rode on our "donkey".  She took her part as the mother of Christ very seriously.  It was perfect!  Yet, did you know that the Wisemen aren't mentioned in Luke 2?  So I ab-libbed that part.

Our little shepherd girl.  Thank you Avannie for letting us tie your collection of sheep together to be in our little fold.

Two little girls can definitely ride a stick horse at the same time.

Sadie's favorite part of Christmas:  the goldfish crackers found in her stocking.

We also had the Elders and Sister missionaries over for the whole day.  It was a bit chaotic at times as we tried to coordinate six different missionary Skype times, but it all worked out.  And all of us had a marvelous time!

Ginger house decorating with friends, Thomas and Abigail Hood.  I don't think their mom really liked me that afternoon after all the candy was devoured.  (They are one of those healthy families that I strive to be more like.)

Christmas dresses and mom's high heeled shoes.

Stockings for 8 people:  Joseph, Kemper, Amy and Aaron's are all in boots.  The missionaries and the girls have real stockings.  And of course there is an orange in each toes, beef jerky and reeses in all of them!

Hanging out with the missionaries on Christmas day.  Wonderful times!
