Happy Thanksgiving 2013

Happy 22-pound Turkey Day!  What a beast.  I could hardly move it in and out of the oven without hurting or burning myself.  And 7.5 hours later, we ate the most delicious, fall-off-the-bone turkey.  Thanks to Adrie Roberts for teaching me how to cook a fancy turkey!

Sadie did a great job with helping make our traditional banana cream pie.  Joseph is in the back washing all of his paintballing stuff as that is what he did with friends on Thanksgiving morning.

Our fancy Thanksgiving feast:  Thanks to Dawnett for letting us her pretty red dishes.

This box of Flare Goblets has been moved and stored and moved and pushed aside for 8 years.  NEVER BEEN opened.  And finally, this one wedding present has been put to good use!  Thank you to whoever bought me something pretty for my wedding!  Eight years later, we are finally having an event to use them.  And what a classy addition it was!

Black Friday Special:  Eating leftover pie for breakfast with my Sadie Baby in our favorite treat-eating-spot.

Joseph went paintballing while the girls and I got ready for the feast. Thing to remember for next time: find camouflage to "disappear" instead of standing out like a sore thumb.  He might have the most paint on him of the 8 people who played.  :)
